We give no warranties over the weather, other acts of God or how much fun you have (though if you're lucky you might get one good night time thunderstorm !) Any of the suggested activities that you do - you do at your own risk. Please be aware that in this rural environment the nearest proper hospital may be some distance away (either Angouleme or Perigeux both of which are a 35 minute drive) - so falling off a rock onto your head (without a helmet) would be bad. Likewise - whilst driving fast is great fun, it is your responsibility to do it legally. And whilst many back roads are largely empty, it really isn't a lot of fun meeting a tractor on a blind bend ! Please drive sensibly and help our reputation for considerate driving in the local community. This is a rural faming community and whilst generally safe, nonetheless presents some unusual hazards. The lane outside the house, whilst nothing like the M25, more like one tractor every half hour or so actually, but these vehicles have restricted vision and may not see small children. So if you have chidlren, please keep an ear or eye open as you snooze. We will offer up the house to you, clean and in a good state of repair. Please keep it that way during your stay. Breakages etc ... need to be replaced. |
